About Us

Mile High Treatment & Recovery is an outpatient clinic for individuals suffering from opioid addiction. Our mission is to restore the individual to a healthier, happier, and more productive life, free from dependence on illicit chemicals. To simplify access to addiction treatment services and connect with our patients on an emotional and personal level. We are here to provide patient centered and compassionate outpatient treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) through Behavioral Health and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Our commitment to helping people extends beyond the conventional, as we open our doors on Sundays, recognizing that addiction knows no schedule. We proudly accept Medicaid and strive to eliminate financial barriers to provide quality care for all.

help. We utilize FDA proven practices to help people maintain long term control over

Walk-In Appointments

Mile High Treatment & Recovery welcomes walk-ins. It is not necessary to make an
appointment. We are here to help when you are ready to walk-in into our clinic. The process is simple and does not take a lot of time.

Guest Dosing

Mile High Treatment & Recovery offers guest dosing services to those visiting Colorado. We have a patient centered clinic located in the Denver Metro Area.

Sunday Guest Dosing

Mile High Treatment & Recovery is open on Sundays and is supporting temporary and/or on-going guest dosing services on a critical date of typical OTP closure.

Accepted Insurance

Mile High Treatment & Recovery accepts Medicaid, Medicare and has a sliding scale payment option available to those that do not have insurance or are unable to afford services. We are committed to help those in need and want to make sure you get the best care possible. If you think you need help paying for the services, please ask a staff member about sliding scale payment options to see if you qualify.

Examples of Common Opioids

The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) defines Addictionas a primary, chronic disease of brain reward, motivation, memory, and related circuitry. Dysfunction in these circuits leads to characteristic biological, psychological, social, and spiritual manifestations.

Some examples of common opioids are: 

Oxycodone, Oxycontin
Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone
Heroin, Vicodin
Morphine, Fentanyl

Medication
Assisted Therapy (MAT)

The use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, provides a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Medications used, such as methadone, are approved by the FDA and are clinically driven and tailored to meet each patient’s needs.

The Opioid Crisis

The drug overdose epidemic continues to worsen in the United States. Drug overdoses, both fatal and nonfatal, continue to impact our nation. Overdose deaths remain a leading cause of injury-related death in the United States. In 2020, more than 56,000 people died from overdoses involving synthetic opioids.
